About this opportunity
We are now looking for BO Transmission Support Engineer to join our organization. In this job role, you will be responsible for the coordination, management, and execution of proactive and reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support that the one offered by the 2nd Level Operations. This shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.
What you will do
- 2nd Level Assurance Support Activities including Incident and problem handling as well as proactive routine maintenance
- Engage with GE/DU for Problem & Emergency CSR to provide recovery action plans and root cause analysis
- Provide technical support for 1st level operations team.
- Leading upgrade and expansion projects in the transport network.
- Fault trend analysis & initiating action streams to reduce any potential risks
You will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Computer, IT Engineering, with 5-7 years proven experience in Transmission operation and configuration.
- Solid experience with MiniLink product family, SPO is a must, and in Long Haul network, Alcatel, ZTE, and SIEA is a PLUS!
- Excellent Knowledge of TX network topology, infrastructure, technologies(TDM, IP, Ethernet, MPLS), applications, traffic handling capabilities and traffic characteristics.
- Familiar with managed services environment and knowledge of Managed Service Telecom Operations Practice.
- Good knowledge of implementation and integration processes.
- A tenacious drive to deliver against business targets with a service and performance focus.
- Good communication, customer-handling skills, and analytical approach to problems.
