STMicroelectronics is on an exciting journey of technology development that requires infrastructure expansion and investment in leading edge technologies. To achieve this goal, we are seeking candidates to support STMicroelectronics facility design and construction organization to build the next generation of semiconductor manufacturing factories.
The projects’ Discipline Lead dept. is responsible for overseeing their discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical, or other) design through construction and commissioning on a greenfield semiconductor fab project
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Support facilities system designs for safe, reliable, and efficient operations
- Participate in weekly design development, and periodic print reviews to ensure quality of engineering design and construction documents
- Participate in design compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations
- Participate in maintain discipline scope control for schedule, cost, and quality of execution
- Give contribution to report to ST project management on progress and any relevant issue
- Execution of controls to validate the contractor’s delivery are to contract documents per project execution plan
- Document project milestones, and support project activities
- Review the project schedule against the critical path and perform variance analyses to ensure impacts are mitigated and schedule is maintained
- Support the change management process regarding technical detail
- Engage with EPC that all required project documentation is completed on time and is maintained per defined project governance, i.e. reports, logs, submittals, RFIs, correspondence, and other relevant documentation
Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in in Engineering; or extensive relevant industry experience will be considered in lieu of degree (Engineering - Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Industrial, I&C)
- Entry level, 0-3yrs of experience in of semiconductor, or similar high-tech experience in an engineering or project management role
- Excellent communication skills and good team working skills, English Required
- Desired: Engineering and construction experience within semiconductor, pharma, or chemical industry
- Desired: Project Management Professional (PMP), or other professional certification
- Desired: knowledge of construction industry standards
- Desired: knowledge of semiconductor facilities including high purity water, gases, and chemicals; oil free air, process cooling water and vacuum systems; Boiler and chilled water systems; Exhaust systems
